Richard Luzi Obituary
BRISTOL
December 15, 1946 - March 3, 2026
Richard (Rit) Luzi of Blairsville, Georgia, formerly of Bristol, Connecticut passed away at the age of 80. Rit grew up in Bristol and attended local schools. He worked at New Departure before enlisting in the U.S. Navy where he served on the guided missile destroyer USS William H. Stanley. Rit was very proud to serve his country. After the service he moved to Florida to start his rug cleaning and rug dying business.
Rit was predeceased by his father and mother, Anthony and Genevieve Luzi, his wife, Judy and his brother Ken Luzi and his wife Carol. He leaves behind his nieces, Amanda and Carolyn and many friends.

So sorry to see passing of Rit. Back in the day we dated and hung out with friends. Always had alot of laughs. So sorry to year of his passing. Prayers go out to his family

I spent a few years after High School and prior to
our Navy service with Rit. I have great memories
of our trips to Wildwood, NJ and Lake George, NY.
May my shipmate rest in peace.
