Dear, Jones Family,
I have many fond memories of your Dad and family. I remember visiting and running around yard, picking fresh cucumbers off the vine in your large garden and making sandwiches. I remember all of you and the cows and the barn cats and the beautiful life you have in Madison, NH.
I remember your dad sharing hunting stories and talking about which guns he prefers. I think remember your dad told us that a certain tree - a grey birch I believe - can bend so much that he and his brothers used to tie a rope to the top and pull it down and then let it launch them into the air. I tried it with a pine tree and fell on my butt. I´m still looking for the grey birch tree. :-)
Your Dad and family were always very kind to us. I will never forget those memories and the days at Silver Lake!
Love,
Harold Mason

Such a kind man, he brought me some of his rhubarb plantings ( which I promptly killed) to plant in my own garden. The world would be a better place if there were more "Franklin" Jones in it. He will be missed by all who knew him. Kathleen Cummings
