Virginia not only spent the vast majority of her career at Hejaz Temple, but also, almost all of her leisure time as she and her husband, Ray, were extremely active in the Temple's volunteer work resulting in life-long treasured friendships.
Married for 67 years to her high school sweetheart, Kenneth "Ray" Morris who predeceased her, she was also predeceased by her oldest son, Kenneth "Ken" Ray Morris, Jr.; and son-in-law, Eddie King. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lynn King; her son, Scott (Joy); daughter-in-law, Gayelene; brother, Tom (Phyllis) Wilson; and sister-in-law, Barbara Wilson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at noon with a reception to follow at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, 639 N. Main St., Greenville, SC 29601
