Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Terri Marberger, passed away peacefully January 31, 2025, after health complications. She was 77 years old.
Terri was born May 4, 1947, to Shirley and Kenneth Hammon in Ogden, Utah. She grew up in West Point and graduated from Clearfield High Schol in 1965.
In June of 1967, Terri married Jerry Fisher, together they had two children, Jennifer and Robert; they were later divorced. She worked at the IRS in Ogden for several years during this time.
In December 1990, Terri married her newfound love and soulmate, Stephen Marberger. Together they shared many years of love and adventure and watching their family grow. They spent time traveling, camping, boating, fishing, and riding in the wheeler. She was and always will be his darlin. Mom loved her family and her constant presence in many family gatherings and trips will be missed.
In September 2006, she retired from Hill Air Force Base. She enjoyed the years she spent there and made many friends.
Terri is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter, Jennifer (Chuck) Holbert; son, Robert (Aubrey) Fisher; stepsons, Tyler (Sheena) Marberger and Shane (Jeanette) Marberger; stepdaughter, Lisa (Rob) Johansen; 20 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; and brothers, James (Martha) Hammon and Mark Hammon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Verhaal; stepfather, John Verhaal; her father, Kenneth Hammon; stepmother, Barbara Hammon; brother, Jeff (Lily) Hammon; stepsister, Cathy Simmons; and her in-laws, Jim and Jocelyn Marberger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
