Steven Allen Obituary

Steven Francis Allen age 63 of Edina, MO passed away, Monday morning, March 10, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Parkview Tower Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born, July 20, 1961 in Kirksville, MO to Richard Francis and Martina Louise Sanders Allen. On December 11, 1993 in Edina, he was united in marriage to Sonya Renee Stout.
Surviving are his wife, Sonya of Edina; three sons, Dylan Morgret of Columbia, MO and Greg and Gerard Allen of Centerville, IA; a daughter, Alesia McDaniels of Centerville, IA; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe Don and Shirley Stout of Edina, MO; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kyle and Teresa Stout of Edina, MO; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Mike Hamlin of Edina, MO; grandchildren Micayla, Kalob, Carmela, Soren and Kris; nieces and nephews and the family dog, Koda.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Logan Steven Allen on July 10, 2013.
Steve graduated from Knox County High School. He presently was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Knox County Stone at Edina. He was a member of the Edina Masonic Lodge #291 A.F. and A.M. of Edina and the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #414 A.F. and A.M. of Greensburg.
Steve enjoyed being outdoors and being busy. He took great pleasure in mowing his lawn and had a great pride of ownership at keeping his property looking nice. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. His fondest love was his motorcycle and riding. It was a family tradition to ride on Christmas Day and he always did. He and Sonya loved traveling often with friends. Steve rode thousands of miles seeing beautiful countryside and visiting so many great places. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them.
