82 year old, Robert ‘Bob’ Kenda, of DeMotte, passed away on October 27, 2025.
On September 11, 1943, Bob was born to John and Helen (Blasco) Kenda, in Whiting, Indiana. He was a United States Army veteran. Bob married the love of his life, Patricia Lentz, on May 14, 1966, at St. Casmier’s in Hammond. He was a man who enjoyed being outside, whether it was mowing the lawn, fishing, golfing, or camping. Bob also enjoyed bowling.
Bob is survived by his wife: Pat, children: Jane (David) Marsh, Jill (Dave) Mashburn, Sarah Dykhuizen, 8 grandchildren, 4.5 great-grandchildren, and brother: Larry (Linda) Kenda.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, son: Robbie Kenda, and brothers: Raymond Kenda, and Donald Kenda.
Per Bob’s wishes cremation will take place.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
