Rebecca A. Fehl, born on March 1, 1941, in Southview, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully with her children by her side December 30, 2024, at the Donnell House. Her witty humor, loving spirit and dedication to her loved ones will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
Rebecca enjoyed a rewarding career as a Psychiatric Aide at Mayview State Hospital for 26 years, where her compassion and commitment made a lasting impact on the lives of those she cared for. She was a proud graduate of Hickory High School and held a deep appreciation for learning and history, which she often shared with her family.
Her hobbies and interests brought her great joy; she delighted in going to the casino, watching her game shows (never call her when her show was on!) and trying for the big winner with her scratch-off tickets. Many cherished memories with family and friends were made at the lake house in Conneaut Lake.
Rebecca is survived by her son, Darren Casper, and her daughter, Shelly (James) Snowden. She was a beloved grandmother to Devin Casper, Rebecca (AJ) Cummins, and Jacob Snowden, and she took immense joy in being a great-grandmother to Mason and Colson Cummins. Additionally, she is remembered by her brother, Raymond Cass.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Fehl, whom she married on August 17, 1978, and by eleven siblings, who together with her husband, await her in eternal rest.
All services are private. She will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, located in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
Rebecca A. Fehl's legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She is deeply missed and will always be held in the fondest of memories.
