Mary Martin Obituary

I've known Mary for nearly 70 years. We were classmates at Northampton High School, graduating in 1960 and worked together while still in school at DeeVille Blouse Factory in Danielsville. Good job & we got paid $1.00 an hour which was good for a student (Mary got me the job). After graduation our lives went different ways until our 45th reunion which was the first one she ever attended and we exchanged phone numbers then and have been in touch by phone every couple of months since then. Her & Chuck met for dinner with my wife & I when Mary's mother died and she returned to Pennsylvania for the services. That was the last time we ever saw each other but we spent many years thereafter on the phone where I would keep her informed on the local "gossip". I will miss those occasional phone calls where we shared memories of years past. She always would tell me how much she loved the "senior center" in Williams and that those people meant the world to her. Rest in Peace old friend.

I will miss you Mary. I enjoyed your company, and you always made me laugh.
