James Franklin Bruce, age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at his residence in Kerrville. He was born on January 10,1958 in Edmond Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Alexander Bruce; and brother Glen Allen Bruce.

James is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Bruce; his mother, Nadean Bruce; and his sister, Glenna Lyon and several nieces and nephew.

James was an avid golfer, a master of the grill, and a passionate world traveler. He cherished time spent fishing with his cousins and was known for his gift of storytelling. He was kind and considerate and was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family

James spent 35 years with Home Depot, building a career as a dedicated store manager. Following his retirement, he continued to stay active by working part-time at Hobby Lobby.

Per James' wishes was to be cremated and his memorial service will be held in April 2026 . In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cancer Society of America.
