Daphne Williams Obituary
Daphne “Daph” Rae Williams, 28, a native and resident of Houma left us on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025.
Ms. Daphne is survived by her son: Myren Anthony Raymond; parents: James R. Williams, Jr. and Angelique Rousse Powell and Michael Powell; sisters, Katina Marie Lawson (James L.), Katrina Reneé Vizier (Alces); nieces and godchildren: Camelia Claire Williams and Ellagrace Rene Vizier; nephews: Whitney Jeffrey Vizier and Alces Paul Vizier Jr.; nieces: Violet and Coraline Thibodaux; grandparents, Allen and Ellen “Chickie” Allemand; paran: Mark Anthony Williams; nanny: Michelle Thomassie; and survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.
Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her brother: James “Tootie” Williams III; grandparents: James R. Williams, Sr.; Dennis Rousse and Leola and Jeffrey Gilbeau.
Daph was always the life of the party, cooking, appling makeup; most of all she loved being a mother to her son Myren. She was a free spirit and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A Celebration of her life will begin at 6:00 pm.
