Mrs. Bernice Ann Maroney, 80, of North Augusta, SC, wife of the late Francis Maroney, entered into rest on Monday, April 13, 2026.

A lifelong resident of the area, she is the daughter of the late Jessie Ralph and Hattie Davis Ferqueron. Bernice began her career in the textile industry with the Graniteville Company at the Swint Division of the Graniteville Company and later retired from the Gregg Division of Avondale Mills as a Cloth Inspector.

Bernice formerly attended Clearwater First Baptist Church. She was happiest when she was gardening and cooking. However, nothing made her any happier than time spent with her family.

Bernice is survived by her children, Judy (Daniel) Doolittle, Shannon (Patricia) Green and Cullen (Tonya) McCormick, siblings, Jimmy (Sylvia) Ferqueron and Cherry McCall, grandchildren, Dylan Green, Brooke (Jason) Priester, Dustin (Shannon) Doolittle, Daryl (Brittany) Doolittle, Tara McCormick and Jessica Keel and great-grandchildren, Patience Anderson, Pierson McCormick, Hayley Staack, Preston Garanto, Aria Rey Goad, Hayden Doolittle, Weston Doolittle, Darla Doolittle, Riley Doolittle and Cole Doolittle.

In accordance with her wishes, Bernice will be cremated, and no service will be held.

Considering her love for animals, memorials in her memory may be made to the Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare. ( www.letlovelive.org)
