Wayne Hardee Obituary

Conway Wayne Hardee, age 58, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 at his home. Wayne was born in Conway, a son of Shelby Jean Hardee and the late Harvey Liston Hardee. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking and also loved his dogs, Goose and Jack. He was an accomplished Automotive Refinisher for over 30 years and was well known for his work in the auto body industry. Wayne was very dedicated to his family and friends and was especially looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild in the coming weeks. Surviving, in addition to his mother of Conway, are one daughter, Kayla Hardee Harrah (Dylan) of Conway; his girlfriend and best friend, Verona Yodice of Little River; one brother, Larry Hardee (Janet) of St. George; one sister, Sylvia Causey (John Plitt) of Myrtle Beach; one half sister, Sandra Frye of Aynor; two nieces, Emily Smith (Carlton) and Shelby Hardee all of St. George; his close friends, Wayne Cooper, Joe Collins, and Chris Cribb; and many friends and loving cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
