Tonya Jenkins Obituary

Tonya Lynn Jenkins, 36, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, at her home after a valiant battle with cancer and with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 23, 1988, in Dayton, Ohio to Mrs. Corrine Hutsell. Tonya was a vibrant, beautiful woman. Everywhere she went people were drawn to her magnetic personality. She worked in retail and had the ability to make anyone love her. Tonya is mother to three fantastic children, Abby, Taylor and Christopher, who were her pride and joy. She was fun-loving and adventurous and always wanted other people to smile. Tonya battled with cancer for over seven years and during that time never wanted anyone else to see or experience her pain. On her good days she loved spending time with people who smiled with her through her struggles. She had such an artistic talent. In her time alone with her children she would spend hours painting anything from rocks to canvases or anything she or her children thought needed to be beautified. Her artistic creations will be forever treasured by those who were blessed to have one of the gallery style masterpieces. Tonya loved animals her whole life. When she was young, she had horses and rode each one of them like a rodeo star. She also loved dogs and cats of whom she had many. Paris, Duzzy, George, Remmie, Callie, Smokey and Biscuit to name a few. Tonya was loved by many people including her beloved twin sister Trisha, Justin Turner and her best friend Kacie Calwick who cared for Tonya in the final year of her life and will treasure all the good times they were able to spend with her. Tonya will be deeply missed and remembered to her family and friends who describe her character as beautiful, adventurous, fun-loving, brave, kind hearted, strong, and fearless. Tonya loved with her whole heart, but love never dies. To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord.
