Thomas Veal Obituary
Thomas was born September 3, 1958 in Paterson, NJ., a son of Thomas Veal, Jr. and Dr. Betty Jane Edwards Veal. Thomas was a Life Member of the Carlstadt Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Thomas served the Corps for 40 years before retiring in 2023. Thomas served in numerous capacities, including as Captain and 10 years as our President. In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his grandmother: Mattie Baines.
Surviving are his wife: Kimberley E. Veal; children: Jaylynn Maluda and Jenna Foran; grandson: Kevin Foran; siblings: Michael E. Veal, Sr. (Anita) and Derek Veal (Susan); nephews: Michael E. Veal, Jr. (Kiana), Matthew Veal, Derek "D.C. Veal, Charles Daniele, Kyle Daniele, and Brandon Daniele; niece: Trenance Veal; great nieces: Naiyah, Nina, Elise, Emily, and Gia.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC. 29577.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC. 29577. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carlstadt Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 84 Carlstadt, NJ. 07072

I rode on the corps with Wayne from the time he joined until 2001, when I left the area. He was always a stabilizing voice when people let their emotions get the better of them. He was a fine person and a good friend.
