Susan Bland Obituary

Susan Kathleen Bland, 67, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday October 16, 2025. She was born on October 13, 1958 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Coburn Bland, Sr., & Catherine Siddal Bland. Susan was a dedicated woman full of love and life! She proudly graduated from Central Michigan University and went on to become a skilled teacher's trainer for many years. In her free time, Susan enjoyed bowling, traveling and watching NASCAR. She was an avid Alabama State fan and enjoyed attending many games. Roll Tide! Above all else, Susan loved her family with her whole heart. Susan will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her. Left to cherish Susan's memory are her adoring siblings- brothers, Coburn C. Bland, Jr. of Indian River, Michigan and Michael Bland of Lansing, Michigan; sisters, Deborah Fuller of St. Charles, Michigan, Karen Rivers of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Victoria Dorsey of Joliet, Illinois; beloved nieces, Stacy, Jacqueline and Morgan; nephews, John, Jason, Bill, Cobie, Chris and John Patrick; as well as a large, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors. A Celebration of Susan's life will be held in Michigan at a later date. The details will be announced when finalized.
