Shelby Hall Obituary

Shelby Rose Hall, 28, of Conway, South Carolina, formerly of Marlboro, New York, passed away peacefully at her home on July 21, 2025. Born on February 20, 1997, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Melanie (Vigliotti) Hall and Emmett "Lenny" Hall. Shelby moved to Conway, SC, at a young age, where she started forming the deep roots that would anchor her beautiful, purpose-filled life. Along with her parents, Shelby is survived by her most precious gift, her son, David., her deeply loved brother, Lenny and her beloved partner, Travis Cobb. She was a 2015 graduate of the Carolina Forest High School. She attended Horry Georgetown Technical College. Shelby worked with pride and dedication at her family's business, Riteway Auto Glass. Shelby was the light of the family. Her laughter, strength, and presence left a mark on everyone who knew her. Her greatest joy and life's purpose was her son, David Starr, whom she adored and nurtured with all her heart. Shelby was David's lighthouse - always shining, always steady, and always there through everything. She taught him all she could. Shelby found beauty in growing and learning alongside David, cherishing every moment. She had a lifelong love for The Wizard of Oz, which became a symbol of her hope, wonder, and journey - a story she loved sharing with him. Shelby held her family close - not only her immediate loved ones, but the extended family. She idealized 'family' and was determined to keep the family's roots woven into the fabric of her life. Among several aunts, uncles, and cousins, Shelby's heart had room for everyone. She valued those connections deeply and kept family at the very center of her life. Shelby will be remembered as the one you think of when you think of home and family. ..."There's no place like home.." The family asks that you please keep them in your deepest thoughts and prayers as they navigate this tremendous loss. Visitation will be held from 2pm - 3pm on August 3rd at: Goldfinch Funeral Home at 606 Beaty St. Conway, SC. Directly following will be a burial service at Hillcrest Cemetery.
