Sharon Blubaugh Obituary

Sharon Jean Blubaugh June 27, 1946 – June 24, 2025 Sharon Jean Blubaugh, 78, passed away peacefully after her long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones, at Grand Strand Medical Center, on June 24, 2025. Sharon was born in Akron, Ohio on June 27, 1946 to Milo and Mary Whyler, who are now deceased. She is also predeceased by her brother, Tom Whyler, her sisters, Linda Thomas, Marilyn Keenan, her ex-husband and close friend, Danny Blubaugh, and her beloved son, Jeromy Martin. Sharon is survived by her loving son Michael Martin, brother Phil Whyler, and daughter in law, Mindy Martin. She also leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren, Amber Martin, Ashley Martin, Alexis Martin, and Justin (Vanessa) Martin and, many nieces and nephews. Sharon was a big personality in a small package. She had a lasting impact on each person she interacted with. She was courageous, inspirational, kind, and loving. She was always so full of joy, and lived her life to the fullest. She loved games, especially Bingo and was always playing games on her phone. She worked for Wal-Mart for many years before she retired. She loved many things, but what brought her the most joy was being a mom and a grandmother. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world, and will be missed by all. As Sharon's wishes there are no services planned, she wants her memory to continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
