Robert Martel Obituary

Myrtle Beach – Robert Martel, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Robert was the beloved son of the late Alfred and Evelyn Martel. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he retired as an insurance adjuster after many years of dedicated service. Outside of work, Robert was an avid golfer and a devoted Costco member. He is survived by his loving son, Robert and wife (Keisha) Martel of Winfield, NJ; two cherished daughters, Jennifer Martel of Winfield Park, NJ, and Francesca Taylor of Virginia Beach, VA; two dear brothers, Thomas Martel of Utah and Michael Martel of Winfield, NJ; and a beloved sister, Pam Plank of Myrtle Beach, SC and his precious grandchildren, Robyn, Kayla, and Alyssa Martel and Leah and Jackson Taylor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
