Bob graduated from Elmont High School, class of 1964. He enlisted in the
Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1968, having spent most of his
time serving his country stationed in Germany.

became part of the Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club where he served as
President for 2 years and as the VE Testing Coordinator from 2016 until 2024,
enjoying many wonderful friendships along the way.

throughout the years. He had a passion for fishing from his boat and from the pier

home he loved so well. He always appreciated being outdoors.

Bob was such a big part of the Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club. He was present at each of the 3 VE sessions where I got my Tech General and finally my Extra. He taught me how to take over as VE Team Lead in the Fall of 2024. Who knew how complicated the job was when he made it look easy. I'm sad I didn't get to know him better. He is greatly missed.
