It was always Aunt Maryann and Uncle Bob, the complete pair made for each other. I remember hearing how he drove my Mom to school when she was younger, or all the times he helped my Dad with the plumbing in their new house. I´ll never forget all the Christmas Eves at my parent´s house, or the BBQs at their house every summer, or all the birthday parties they always so graciously showed up for to support us...so many happy memories to counter this sad time. Thank you for loving and protecting my Aunt Maryann all these years. Thank you, also, for leaving a legacy of wonderful memories for the world to remember you by. You were always so kind. What a testament to a life well lived. We will miss you.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob. I have such great memories of him. I remember visiting him and Aunt Maryann as a kid when they lived in NJ. We would go there for Christmas parties and summer picnics. I was young, but I remember playing in their basement and in their backyard. I also remember visiting them in SC several years later, when Uncle Bob took us clamming and we collected buckets of shellfish. And, of course, my wedding when he, Aunt Maryann, Robert, and Brian came all the way up to CT to be there with us that day. That meant a lot to Melanie and I. Uncle Bob was always so nice to us. He was a great example for everyone who knew him.
