Richard Demers Obituary

Deacon Richard Demers,78,passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2025. He was born October 24th, 1946 to the late Roland and Solange Demers. He was the oldest of three children. Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and man of God. After serving in the U.S. Airforce for 7 years he maintained a career in communications as a systems engineer until retirement. He was ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church for 36 years. He is survived by his wife Jeannine of 48 years, his son Brandon and his wife Tiffany, his son Tim, his daughter Rebekah and her husband Aaron and his 4 grandchildren Ava, Luke, Emma and Jayden. He also leaves behind his brother Normand, his wife Anita and their children and his sister Judy, her husband Steve and their children. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday August 8th at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Myrtle Beach, with his burial to follow at the North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.
