Penny Johnson Obituary

Conway, SC Penny Johnson, age 67, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at her home. Mrs. Johnson was born March 24, 1958 in Evanston, IL a daughter of the late Robert Carlson and the late Mildred Jean Slagle Carlson. She loved her dogs, traveling, and cooking. She also loved riding horses in her younger years. Mrs. Johnson especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Johnson; one daughter, Laurel Johnson; two grandchildren, Hailey Patino and Chase Patino; one great grandson, Myles Dennis all of Conway, SC; and three sisters, Sandy Petty, Maura Howley (David), and Paula Hamilton (Michael) all of Chicago, IL. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
