Mary Love Obituary

Mary Magdeline Love, 87, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1937 in Charlotte N.C., daughter of the late James B. Furgeson and Annie Mae Connell Love. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Grover Lee Love. Mary was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved reading sewing and collecting teddy bears. Mrs. Love is survived by her daughters, Donna Collier (Shawn) and Melissa Spangler (Scott); brother, Billy Resse Furgeson; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will miss her. Graveside Services will be held 11am Thursday October 9th, 2025 at Westside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
