Mary Camp Obituary

Conway… Mary Etta Martin Camp, age 91, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born in Conway, SC, Mary is a daughter of the late Willie and Mae Johnson. She was a lifetime resident of the area and retired from Lowe's Home Improvement after many years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mary was known for her sharp wit and sense of humor. She had a passion for cooking and traveling, and never missed an opportunity to be on the water. Mary is preceded in death by her first husband, James Martin, second husband, Joe Camp, son, Chris Martin, daughter-in-law, Patty, five brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include her children, Jimmy Martin (Angie), Carolyn Hearl (Anthony); grandchildren, Janna Simpson (Aaron), Michael Hearl (Whitney), Krista Kufen (Jason), Amber Martin; and five great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Lindsay Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
