Lynne Lesefky Obituary

Lynne Elizabeth Seyboth Lesefky, age 81, passed away February 12, 2026 at her residence at Little River, South Carolina.

She was born October 26, 1944, in Rochester, Pennsylvania to Wilmer and Mildred Seyboth of Beaver, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by a brother, William and sister, Anne Seyboth. She was raised in Beaver County and graduated from Beaver Area High School as part of the Class of 1962.

She attended Ohio Northern University, majoring in social work and special education and going on to pursue different careers across her life, including social work and real estate. Of particular note is her tenure as principal of a special education high school and her work at such institutions as Ohio's Lima State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, having helped oversee healthy rehabilitation efforts for its patients.

For a time, she created and maintained a daycare service at her home, acting as a crucial figure in the lives of children, "her kids" as she called them and increasing exponentially the positive impact she produced within her community.

She moved to Little River, South Carolina alongside her partner, John Pearson, in 2002. It was here she would spend the remainder of her life as a powerful matriarch of her local community in Windjammer Village.

She is survived by her sole child, Heather Seyboth Dean, her son in law, Michael Reid Dean, and her two grandchildren, Logan Michael Dean and Lorelei Elizabeth Dean. These individuals, alongside her greater family and friends, will mourn and remember her for many years to come.

Any donations in her memory may be given to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, the hospice program that helped her transition peacefully.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
