Linda Heinlein Obituary

Linda Christine Heinlein, 70, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025. Born in Troy, OH, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary Duncan. Linda enjoyed gardening, home improvements, shopping, reading horror novels, traveling, and sewing up dog toys for Gizmo. She really enjoyed sitting on her back deck watching wildlife in the woods. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, James Collins; brother, Dale Duncan; sisters, Lisa and Josie Duncan. Linda is survived by her husband Garry L. Heinlein, of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, David L. Collins of Dayton, OH; grandson, Jack T. Collins of Troy, OH; stepson, Garry J. Heinlein (Cassie) of Moraine, OH; stepdaughter, Stacy Poe (Darren), of Germantown, OH; grandchildren, Bobby Poe, Justin Fletcher, and Bryanna Poe, Kali West-Heinlein (Luke) of Dayton, OH, Macayla Heinlein (Gary) of Dayton, OH, Garry; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many friends including, Lenora Baker, CJ James, Juan Mazariego, and family, David and Debbie Fox (Sister-in-law) and their family of Huber Heights, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Hospice or Cancer association. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Linda Christine Heinlein, please visit our floral store.
