Larry Tuten Obituary

Larry Christian Tuten, 64, of Pawleys Island, SC, formerly of NC, NY, OH and FL, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was born on December 14, 1960, in Winston Salem, NC, son of the late, James Maner Tuten, Jr. and Ritha Henrichsen Tuten. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kristen Tuten; and a brother, Mark Tuten. He is survived by his brother James Maner Tuten, III and his wife Anna, of North Charleston, SC; one nephew, three nieces, five great nieces and three great nephews. Larry enjoyed theater and arts, fine dining, cooking, and spending time fishing and golfing with his friends. His passion was the service industry providing a high quality experience in the restaurant and entertainment world. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 4-7pm at Blue Bayou Bistro, in Georgetown, SC, for a celebration of life.
