Larry Palazza Obituary

Larry A. Palazza, age 69, of Murrells Inlet, passed away August 18, 2025 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. Larry was born October 29, 1955 to the late Albert Palazza & Alice Cambra Palazza Greco. Following the death of his father, his mother married Joseph Greco when Larry was about 11 years and it was Joseph that was the father figure for Larry and raised him as his own. Larry was proud to work in the trucking industry for over 50 years where he was both a company driver and independent owner/operator and won many awards for his skill and safety training. Larry was an avid fisherman and had a passion for motorcycles, guitars, and music - especially Joe Bonomassa. Larry was known by many for his love of cooking and his magnificent sense of humor, both of which were gifts acquired from his mother. He will be known as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his son, Ryan more than anything and he was very proud of his grandson. Besides his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his son, Ryan Michael Palazza; and his three brothers, Richard Palazza, Frank Palazza, and Sonny Palazza Larry is survived by his wife, Eileen Anne Palazza; nephew, Dennis Palazza and his wife Linda; great nieces and nephews, Holly Palazza Luzenko, Nicholas Palazza, Mackenna Palazza, and Noah Palazza. He is also survived by his grandson, Liam Gallagher. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-7:30 PM, Friday August 22, 2025 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, with prayers and a time of sharing at 6:30 PM. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is serving the family.
