Judith Robinson Obituary

Judith Ann Hunter Robinson, lovingly known as "Judy," passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, at the age of 79, after a courageous battle with COPD. She was born in Statesville, NC, on August 16, 1946, to William "Bill" Hunter and Julia King Hunter. She spent her high school years in Clarksville, VA, attending Bluestone High School, before going on to Stratford College in Danville, VA, and later Lynchburg College, where she earned a degree in history. She spent most of her career in the health insurance industry while living in Charlotte, NC. Judy was known for her spunky, friendly personality. She enjoyed traveling to tropical destinations and gathering for monthly dinners with her many friends. In 2018, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of moving to the beach, settling in North Myrtle Beach where she held fond memories from childhood visits. Just days before her passing, on August 16, Judy celebrated her 79th birthday surrounded by more than 40 friends and loved ones at a joyful celebration of life party-a reflection of the love she gave and received throughout her years. She is survived by her daughter, Hunter Robinson Forstchen (Stephen), and two beloved grandchildren, Katherine "Katie" and Parker, as well as her brothers, William "Bill" Hunter (Lynn) and Henry Hunter (Debbie). At Judy's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Her family finds comfort knowing she left this world as she lived in it-on her own terms, with love, laughter, and a full heart.
