John Hagan Obituary
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Brangers and Dorothy Clark, both of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorma L. Hagan of Myrtle Beach, SC; five daughters, Julie Hencye and her husband, Kurt of Magnolia, KY, Sheila Browning and her husband, John of Elizabethtown, KY, Kathy Okeson and her husband, Peter of Hodgenville, KY, Lisa Holzberger of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Gretchen Ayers and her husband, Julian of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Joe Hagan and his wife, Barbara of Elizabethtown, KY; five grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany, Kenneth, Kyle, Emma; and one great granddaughter, Izzy.
John retired from the United States Airforce. He went on to work for US Airways where he retired and then spent many years refereeing High School Basketball around the Grand Strand area.
A celebration of John's life with military honors will be announced once arrangements are finalized.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the ALS Association

Steve Brangers John´s nephew brought John to a combined class reunion in Elizabethtown many years ago. It was wonderful seeing John again. Rest in peace John God bless your family and friends

I knew John through a mutual friend when we were stationed at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. I left in 1992 and returned in 2018 and had the honor to meet back up to play as a member of the Hagans´ Hackers. Miss you.

Thanks John for asking me to play with Hagan´s Hackers many years ago when I was in town. I played in the group several years when I was in town from Lincoln, Nebraska. Enjoyed many lunches with you and taking you to the 19th hole at the World Am. RIP my friend.
