Jeanette Lollman Obituary
Jeanette Marie Lollman,79, formerly of Knoxboro, NY and more recently of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC on Friday October 24, 2025.
Jeanette was born on March 2, 1946, one of nine children. The daughter of the late Ralph Sehn and the late Winifred Williams Sehn. Jeanette was raised on the family farm in Augusta where the values of family and a work ethic were instilled in Jeanette, carrying these same values throughout her life. She was a graduate of Madison Central School, Class of 1963. She married her soulmate James R. Lollman Sr. in October of 1963. Their loving union was blessed with their two beautiful and cherished children James Jr. and Theresa Jean. Jim Sr. passed away in November of 1993. Jeanette enjoyed her working career at Colgate University where she worked in the Alumni Records Department. She devoted 32 years of dedicated service to the University, retiring in 2005. Jeanette had lived in Lebanon on the reservoir, and more recently relocated to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina in 2022. The farm life never left Jeanette; she enjoyed gardening, growing bountiful harvests of vegetables and flowers. She loved to dance, especially to country and western music. Jeanette was an avid traveler who loved a new adventure of new places and people.
She leaves behind a legacy of motherly love, wisdom, compassion and grace, leaving a lasting memory for those that knew and loved Jeanette.
Jeanette is survived by her beloved children James R. Lollman Jr., Daughter in-law,Autumn Klaus)Temple, TX and Theresa Lollman, Murrells Inlet SC; Her beloved and cherished grandchildren: Michael, Michaela, Kai, and Alexandria; Her siblings: Betty Golly, Ralph(Butch)Sehn Sr., Gerald Sehn Sr.(deceased), Elizabeth(Betty)Conover(deceased), William(Bill)Sehn Sr., Her twin sister Jean Hewitt, John Sehn and Mary Jane Burkert.
Jeanette is also survived by numerous Brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Jeanette's Services are as follows, Calling Hours Saturday, November 8th, starting at 11 am at the Paul Funeral Home, 3592 South Street, Madison, NY. Proceeded by the Funeral at 2pm the same day, with an Interment following in the Augusta Cemetery, in Knoxboro, NY.
