James Ireland Obituary

James Dennis Ireland Sr. age 87, passed away Sunday July 6, 2025, at Angel Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. James was born September 16, 1937, in Centreville, Maryland to the late William T. Ireland Sr. and Catherine E. (Hammett) Ireland. Left to cherish James's memory is his loving wife of 61 years Myra Elizabeth Ireland, two sons James Dennis Ireland Jr. and William "Scott" Ireland (Meredith Hager), grandchildren Jonathan, Karak (Yesenia), Kailey, and Braiden, and a great granddaughter Paulina. In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his brother Tommy Ireland. James was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force; he also worked at C&P Telephone Company for 32 years and was a member of the Garden City Baptist Church. James loved gardening and was devoted to his loving family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
