Jackie Hendrick Obituary

Conway… Jackie Durant Hendrick, age 72, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025. Mrs. Hendrick was born in Conway, a daughter of Eula Mae Durant and the late William Herman Durant. She enjoyed vacationing, cruises, gardening, and shopping. Mrs. Hendrick was a teacher at Whittemore Park Middle School for over 30 years where she impacted the lives of many young people. She was known for her cakes and excellent cooking and will be remembered for her beautiful smile. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 54 years, Frank Hendrick of Conway; one son, Will Hendrick (Amanda) of Conway; one daughter, Rachel Christenson of Conway; three grandchildren, Sage Christenson, Gage Christenson, and Heath Huggins; four brothers, William Durant (Donna), Charles Durant (Nancy), Randy Durant, and Anthony Durant (Kerr); one sister, Jean Justus; a special cousin, Jayne Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Bakers Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Jeremy Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
