Idell Haselden Obituary

Idell M. Haselden Conway, SC Idell M. Haselden, 88, wife of the late Bobby Haselden of 48 years, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at Conway Medical Center. Mrs. Haselden was born in Conway, S.C., a daughter of the late Daniel Dillon and Minnie Thompkins Marlowe. She was a member of the Conway Church of God since 1971. She was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and prayer warrior. She loved to spend her days reading her Bible, praying for others, and cooking and baking. She is the glue that held the family together. She fought the good fight daily to be the faithful servant that God called her to be. Surviving are one son, Joseph "Joe" Carlisle Haselden of Conway; two daughters, Patricia "Susie" Haselden and Kay H. Calhoun both of Conway; one beloved daughter-in-law, Emma Jean Haselden; one brother, Sam Marlowe and his wife Liz of Conway; one sister, Ruth Baker of Loris; seven grandchildren, Shannon Haselden, Crystal Graham, Jessica Frye and Brad, Eddie Rollins, Chris Rollins, Kayla Brazier and Ross, Kitty Tackett and Wyatt. Eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; special family members, Kenneth Testa, Gail Haselden, and Beth Button. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Haselden was preceded by a son Robert Haselden, son-in-law Dennis "Bobo" Calhoun, twin granddaughters Kaitlyn Julia and Kelsey Lyn Calhoun, six brothers; Judson, Calhoun, Arthur, Elmo, Pearlie and Dick Marlowe, two sisters; Rudell M. Thompkins, and Ruby Benton. A Funeral Service will be held Monday June 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Conway Church of God with the Reverend Brett Davis, Reverend Kimberly Elvis and Reverend Ethan Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Monday at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Conway Church of God, P.O.
