Harry Eugene Damp Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Harry Eugene Damp, 83, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, one day after celebrating his 83rd birthday, while vacationing at sea with his beloved family. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Harry Damp and Mary Ada Float, Harry graduated from Grove City College and went on to have a distinguished career as a district manager and vice president at Mellon Bank. He proudly served his country as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Harry had a passion for life and enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, and cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be remembered for his dedication to family, service, and his love of the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife, Catharine Damp, and his cherished daughter, Deborah. Details of a memorial service will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
