Guy Pastrana Obituary

Guy Anthony Pastrana Sr., 72, entered into the presence of the Lord while sleeping in the early hours of Thursday, October 9th 2025 in Conway, South Carolina. Guy was born on September 1st 1953 in the Bronx, New York to Anthony Joseph and Melvina Rose Pastrana. After graduating from high school in New York, Guy attended Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and later continued his education at Richard Stockton State College (now Stockton University) in Galloway Township, New Jersey. Guy proudly served as a police officer for over two decades in several municipalities across southern New Jersey including Hamilton Township, Pleasantville, and Linwood. As a police officer, Guy worked undercover and as a traffic motorcycle officer, among other assignments. Outside of work, Guy had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, classic rock 'n' roll, tech, and outdoor sportsmanship. As follower of Christ, Guy was very active in his church and men's bible study group. Guy lived by his favorite verse: Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Guy is survived by his wife, Beverly Sanislo-Pastrana; his children Marlena Anne Pastrana & Guy Anthony Pastrana Jr.; and his step children Heather Lubowitz & Sarah Sanislo-Thomas. Guy was predeceased by his two older siblings, Ronnie & Toni, to whom he was devoted.
