Grady Edwards Obituary

"Born on May 24, 1940, Grady Cole Edwards entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Linda Edwards (Schultz), his parents, George W. and Atha L. Edwards, brother, Robert Edwards, and sister, Barbara Keith. He is survived by his daughter, Katie Edwards, brother, Tom Edwards, his brother-in-law, Ernie (Jane), and many nieces and nephews. And Fibber, his beloved dog and constant companion. Grady grew up in Society Hill moving to Hartsville after marrying Linda. He worked his entire career at Sonoco while doing taxes on the side. After retiring, Grady and Linda moved to North Myrtle Beach where they enjoyed spending time with new friends and living by the ocean. After Linda's passing in 2021, Grady became more involved with church and was a beloved member of the congregation at Risen Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing Dominos and going out to dinner with friends and family. Grady will not only be greatly missed by his daughter and family but by all of his friends and members of the community where he lived."
