Geraldine Bowe Obituary
Born in Fulton, New York, she was the beloved daughter of Edward Robinson and Ruth Waldron. Geraldine was known for her sweet nature, quiet strength, and the warmth she shared so freely with others throughout her life.
Geraldine was devotedly married to her husband, John "Jack" Bowe, for 34 years. Together they built a life rooted in love and family. She enjoyed spending time as a snowbird before making Surfside Beach her permanent home when she moved in 1994 with her companion, Robert McCumber who proceeded her in death in 2016. Surfside Beach is where she found comfort, community and a place she truly loved.
A woman of faith, she was a cherished member of Shepherd of the Sea Church. Her kindness and gentle presence left a lasting impression on all who worshiped alongside her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Bowe, and her treasured grandchildren, Jonathan and Erin Callahan, who were the joy of her life.
Geraldine will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, a faithful friend, and a woman whose kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service for Geraldine will be held at a later date.
