George Willhite Obituary

Conway……. George Wesley Willhite, age 89, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. Mr. Willhite was born in Moro, Arkansas, a son of the late John Henry and Elizabeth Sanders Willhite. He retired from the US Air Force after serving 22 years and served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. After retiring from the Air Force, he was employed by Grove Manufacturing in Conway as a security guard. Mr. Willhite was a member of Conway Church of God. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Annette Willhite, a son, James Willhite, a grandson, Andrew Willhite, a granddaughter, April L. Willhite; a brother, John H. Willhite, Jr., a sister, Faye Norton, and a son-in-law, David M. Stalvey. Surviving are: one son, Ronnie G. Willhite (Candy) of Fountain Inn, SC; two daughters, Gay A. Stalvey of Conway, and Linda S. Tovar of Valdosta, GA; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Conway Church of God with Rev. Brett Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
