George Tolbert Obituary

George Harold Tolbert II, 73, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away at his home with his wife and grandson by his side. George was born April 30, 1952, in York, Pennsylvania to the late George H. And Mildred E. (Oberdick) Tolbert. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 44 years Mona Tolbert, their children Tina Rankin, and Rosilee Dixon, grandchildren Keoni Paul Showers, Nathaniel Rankin, Samuel Rankin, David Dixon, and Jordan Dixon, great grandsons Andrew Dixon, and Waylon Rankin, and his brothers Frank Tolbert and Edward Tolbert. Along with his parents George was predeceased by his son George (Georgie) H. Tolbert III. George was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving 22 years and achieving the rank of Master Sargent. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life Service for a future date. Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
