George Hixenbaugh Obituary

George Francis Hixenbaugh III, 69, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Conway Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1956 in Cumberland, Maryland, a son of the late George Francis Hixenbaugh Jr. and Margaret Jean Robison Hixenbaugh. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Gary Hixenbaugh and Thomas Hixenbaugh. George was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He loved football, baseball and NASCAR. He was a Proud Army Veteran who loved spending time with his family. Mr. Hixenbaugh is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Melissa Diane Wiley Hixenbaugh; son, Nicholas Hixenbaugh (Yumi); daughter, Elizabeth Hixenbaugh; brothers, William Hixenbaugh and Glen Hixenbaugh; sisters, Georgeann Savicz, Patricia Fetters and Deborah Loar; his fur baby, Teddy; several nieces and nephews along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
