F. Sanders Obituary

Conway.. F. Delano Sanders, age 90, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025. Mr. Sanders was born in Conway, a son of the late Archie Burroughs and Ella Lucille Hucks Sanders. He was the owner and operator of Allstate Sanders Agency in Conway. Mr. Sanders was a former member of the Horry County Housing Authority Board of Directors, the Grand Strand Water and Sewer Board of Directors, Conway Rotary Club, and the Masons. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Conway. Mr. Sanders was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was predeceased by brothers, Windell Sanders, Gene Sanders, and Thomas L. Hucks. Surviving are: one son, Franklin D. Sanders, Jr. (Tiffany) of Murrells Inlet; one daughter, LeEllyn Long of Conway; four grandchildren, Lee Caroline Sanders Cartrette (Austin), McKinley Sanders, Lee Long, and Morgan Long; four brothers, Herman Sanders of Marion, SC, Jimmy Sanders, Paul Sanders (Nora) and Larry Sanders, all of Conway; one sister, Rhonda Butler of Conway, and a sister in law, Catherine Sanders of Cordova, SC. Graveside services will be private. Memorials may be sent to the Veteran's Village Benevolence Fund, 1200 East National Cemetery Road, Florence, SC 29506.
