F. Sanders Obituary

Conway.. F. Delano Sanders, age 90, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025. Mr. Sanders was born in Conway, a son of the late Archie Burroughs and Ella Lucille Hucks Sanders. He was the owner and operator of Allstate Sanders Agency in Conway. Mr. Sanders was a former member of the Horry County Housing Authority Board of Directors, the Grand Strand Water and Sewer Board of Directors, Conway Rotary Club, and the Masons. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Conway. Mr. Sanders was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was predeceased by brothers, Windell Sanders, Gene Sanders, and Thomas L. Hucks. Surviving are: one son, Franklin D. Sanders, Jr. (Tiffany) of Murrells Inlet; one daughter, LeEllyn Long of Conway; four grandchildren, Lee Caroline Sanders Cartrette (Austin), McKinley Sanders, Lee Long, and Morgan Long; four brothers, Herman Sanders of Marion, SC, Jimmy Sanders, Paul Sanders (Nora) and Larry Sanders, all of Conway; one sister, Rhonda Butler of Conway, and a sister in law, Catherine Sanders of Cordova, SC.
