Esther Gilmore Obituary

Conway, SC… Esther Carroll Gilmore, age 78, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025. Ms. Gilmore was born in Conway a daughter of the late V.O. and Leitha Gilmore. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed cooking and going to the gym. Ms. Gilmore was a dedicated and active volunteer with Meals on Wheels. She will be most remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Ms. Gilmore was predeceased by a brother, George Gilmore. Survivors include two daughters, Karyn Seesan (Rose Foster) of Garden City, SC and Nichole Maxwell (Ian) of Oak Island, NC; two grandchildren, Caroline and Nicholas Maxwell both of Oak Island, NC; and one nephew, Jonathan Gilmore (Brennan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 19, 2025 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Everyone is encouraged to dress in casual attire.
