Eleanor Schiller Obituary

Eleanor C. Schiller 89 passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was born January 20, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Leonard and Celeste Hanline Cohan. Ellie was a member of Temple Emanu-el and a retired teacher. Surviving is her husband, Hugo Schiller, her son, Frank Allan Schiller, her daughter, Sonia Kahan and her husband, Jim Smith, her sister, Annie Scherer, grandchildren, Adam Kahn, Evan Kahn, Alex Kahn and great-grandchildren, Jacob Kahn, Lucas Kahn and Kaleb Kahn. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, August 18, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Rabbi Avi Perets officiating. Burial will follow in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery. Friends are invited to Temple Emanu-el (406-65th Ave N. in Myrtle Beach) following the graveside committal service for refreshment and fellowship.
