Edward Bryant Obituary

Conway… Edward "Shorty" Bryant, age 86, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025. Mr. Bryant was born in Conway, a son of the late James Don Bryant and the late Edna Newton Bryant. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a servant of God's Kingdom. Mr. Bryant enjoyed working in his yard and tinkering with vehicles. He was a hard working man and will be remembered for always putting his family first. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was predeceased by his loving wife, Patsy Martin Bryant; and four brothers. Survivors include four children, Eddie L. Bryant (Brenda) of Galivants Ferry, Terry Williams (Dennis) of Conway, Mark "Radar" Bryant of Loris, and John Bryant of Myrtle Beach; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Winford Bryant (Linda) of Conway and Levon Bryant of Chalreston; two sisters, Lillie Mae Small and Linda Easterlin both of Charleston; and a special friend, Robin Davis of Conway. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
