Donna Roesch Obituary

Donna Sue (Gray) Roesch, unexpectedly passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born July 11th, 1955, in West Salem, IL, to Donald and Vera (Densmore) Gray. Donna moved to St. Charles, IL where she attended and graduated from St. Charles High School in 1973. There she met her loving husband of 49 years, Michael E. Roesch and they were married in 1975. Donna worked for Owens-Illinois in West Chicago, IL and as an Inspector for Hoffers Plastics in South Elgin, IL for over 37 years until she retired in 2022 and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. Donna will always be loved for her ability to show anyone compassion and patience. She was known for her strong will and dedication to her family, friends and occupation. She remembered everyone's birthday and always greeted everyone with a hug and a smile to show you were special and loved. She is survived by her husband Michael E. Roesch; her children; Amy, Kelly and Michael Roesch and his wife Kristina; grandchildren Faith, Angelina and Julianna Roesch; brother Robert Gray and his wife Debbie; sister Carol Kaelin and sister-in-laws Carol Mason and Margo Gray; brother-in-law Richard Iskerka and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her grandson Tyler Roesch; parents Donald and Vera (Densmore) Gray; brothers James Gray, Ronnie and Donnie McDowell; sister-in-laws Sandy McDowell, Lillian McDowell and Linda (Roesch) Iskerka; brother-in-law Dale Roesch; nephews Eric Gray and Harry James McDowell; grandparents Norris and Esta (Bryant) Gray and Roy and Alma (Fryman) Densmore and her aunts and uncles. In accordance with Donna's last wishes the Myrtle Beach Funeral Home will be handling her final arrangements. Her Interment and Memorial Service will be held at the Moravian Cemetery in West Salem, IL on July 11th, 2025. The funeral home has provided a guestbook on their website for remembrances. If you'd like to send flowers, we ask that you please send them for her birthday, July 11th, 2025 to the Moravian Cemetery. To send flowers to the family, please visit our floral store.
