Donald Baxter Obituary
Don was born on April 28, 1952 to Robert and Gloria (Prindle) Baxter in Niagara Falls, NY. After Don graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1970, he went on to study Psychology at SUNY Fredonia. Don completed his education with a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations from Cornell University. After graduation Don commenced a 43 year career with several Fortune 100 companies including General Mills, The May Department Stores, ConAgra Foods and DHL America as Vice President, Compensation and Benefits.
In 2002 Don met the love of his life Peggy (Westfall) Baxter who embraced Don's two daughters Kathryn (Kate) and Hannah.
In 2017 Don retired and spent his time gardening and playing golf and hitting two hole in one's. One of Don's favorite activities was to enjoy a scotch at the corner of a saloon bar conversing with his wife, Peg.
Don was preceded in death by his mother Gloria, father Robert and brother Rick. Don is survived by his loving wife Peggy, daughter Kate, daughter-in-law Liz, grandson August and daughter Hannah, brother Mark, sister-in-law Suzanne and sister-in-law Bonnie. Don is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.
A tribute to Don's life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Leukemia Society, an organization Don felt strongly about.

As I was searching for classmates from Niagara Falls High School for our 55 year reunion I came across this. So sorry to hear that Donald has passed. I will share with his classmates this story about his full and wonderful life. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Theresa Maroon Kasper
