Dennis Soucy Obituary

Dennis Michael Soucy, 79, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on July 17, 2025. Born in Bristol, CT, he was the son of the late Clarence and Emma Soucy. Dennis was the former owner of North Road Pharmacy. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was a fan of UCONN Basketball. He was also a member of the Broad Brook Fire Department for 25 years, and chairperson of the East Windsor Community Golf Benefit for 20 years. In addition to his parents, Dennis was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Soucy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; daughter, Alethea Maddox of Broad Brook, CT; grandchildren, Giovanni Maddox of Broad Brook, CT, and Josh Maddox of Broad Brook, CT; brother, Jim (Ricki) Soucy of Meriden, CT; sister, Betty (George) Montowski of Bristol, CT; and his brother Paul (Josie) Soucy of Harwichtown, MA. He had many nieces and nephews, including Frank Soucy, Eric Soucy, Ryan Soucy, George Montowski, Stephanie Taricani, Melissa Ellis, Kara Bergeron, and Megan Houlihan. He also leaves behind Gerald Bancroft and James Bancroft, whom he loved as sons. A Celebration of Life will be held September 20, 2025, at the German Club, 75 Depot Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016, from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
