Dennis Milone Obituary

Dennis M. Milone, 78, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on June 21, 2025. He was born August 22, 1946, in Bronx, NY son of the late Angelo and Anna Milone. Dennis was a graduate of Cardinal Hayes Highschool in Bronx, NY and a graduate of Fordham University, Lincoln Center Campus. He retired from the NYC Police Department with the rank of Sergeant. After retiring, Dennis went on to work for Industrial Bearing and Supply Company, Jamaica, NY for over 20 years. He also enjoyed spending his winters in Marco Island, FL where he enjoyed playing pickleball, racquetball, boating and lounging at the pool with his many friends there. He enjoyed traveling once a year to an out of state college football game with his long-time buddies. He loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean Islands and tour Europe with family and lifelong friends from, as he called it, "the Neighborhood". He is survived by his wife, Patricia Milone (Farrell) of Murrells Inlet, SC; his son, Dennis, Jr. of Florida; his daughter, Kristen Milone and her husband, Carlos Figueroa of Highland Mills, NY; and his brother, Thomas of Staten Island, NY. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Dennis' name to Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Hospice, 1314 3rd Ave, Conway, SC 29526.
