Danny Cannon Obituary

Loris, SC Mr. Danny S. Cannon, 58, husband of Teresa W. Cannon, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 1, 2025, following a brief onset illness. Born November 16, 1966 in Loris, Danny was the son of the late James Dennis Cannon and the late Judy Marie Harrelson Cannon. Danny's favorite pastime was fishing. It provided a brief, quiet getaway that he certainly deserved after the hard, long days of work he always gave. He was an expert painter and wallpaper installer and was never afraid to tackle the big jobs in hotels, office buildings, restaurants, and homes throughout Horry County. Danny was also a master builder and remodeler who always gave his best to every job. Those who knew him knew he could be counted on to provide excellent workmanship at a fair price. He will be missed by many. Danny is survived by his loving wife of 34 ½ years, Teresa Williamson Cannon; his children, Holly Carroll and husband Jimmy and Keith Williamson and wife Bridgett; his grandchildren, Brittany Carroll, Brandon Carroll, Cody Carroll, Kayli Williamson, Kaison Williamson, and Cayden Williamson; his sister, Kristie Hendrick and husband Sandy; his niece, Taylor Hendrick; his nephew, Walker Hendrick; and many other extended family and friends. Graveside services, conducted by Rev. Tommy Shelley, will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Cane Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Loris. The family will receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, Tuesday evening from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
